DJ-ing since 1991. First in the early Dutch house, club and techno scene. Battled within these styles in the Dutch DMC Championships for multiple years. In 1996 drum and bass was added to the dj-gigs when caught by the sounds and bass of the breakbeats and jungle played by some friends.
Resident dj at SOLK Quality Drum and Bass Events since it's start till today. These events went big in 2004 when SOLK teamed up with top notch venue Hedon in Zwolle, Holland. From there the SOLK saga picked up momentum with a range of slamming events presenting the biggest drum and bass dj's and producers from all over the world.
Nowadays still resident at the international SOLK Tour which drop the SOLK nights at a range of clubs alongside SOLK resident and Break-Fast promoter, resident and Break-Fast Audio owner dj Fre4knc and artists from the likes of 4Hero, Alpha Omega, A Sides, Alley Cat, B-Key, Blame, Breakage, Doc Scott, Equinox, Fanu, Fracture, Goldie, Leke Aerosoul, Macc, Neptune, Nolige, Outrage, Paradox, Seba, Skeptical, Skitty, Storm and Visionary. www.boembap.nl/solk
In the autumn of 2013 Ben L. became resident of a new deep house and techno event 'Vaarwater' with it's residency in the city of Zwolle in Holland. Vaarwater aims at those people that have seen in all and just want to go back to the roots of going out; have a quality time, hear only the best in the field of deep house en techno added with the finest electro and future disco, and prefer a proper, clean, and spatious venue above the overcrowded 'the more the merrier' events where the dj is the center piece of it all.
